How to Join the
Papillon (Butterfly Dog) Club

The Papillon (Butterfly Dog) Club (established 1923) is an organisation for all those interested in the breed of Toy Dog known as the Papillon (or the drop eared type known as the Phalene). The club was established to promote the interests of the Breed and to ensure adherence to true type as stated in the Breed Standard.

The object of the Club is to encourage interest in, and responsible ownership of, the breed. To give advice on the proper care of the breed and generally to promote awareness of its activities and welfare.

All members agree to abide by the Club's rules.

Subscriptions are due annually on the 1st January and any notice of resignation must be given not less than one month before this date. All payments must be made in GB pounds sterling and can be made by any of the following methods:

  1. Cheque made payable to "The Papillon (Butterfly Dog) Club" and sent to the address on the application form
  2. Standing Order. Please obtain further details regarding this method from the Treasurer
  3. PayPal (Small surcharge made for payment by this method)

Overseas Members: If you would like to receive the club's newsletter buy air mail instead of surface mail, please add £3 per annum (or £15 for the 5 year subscription)  to your subscription.

Application for new Membership

New Membership applicants must complete an application form and send this to the Secretary at the address shown on the form. Payment by one of the above methods must be made at the same time as the application form is submitted.

Annual Renewal of Membership

Membership is due annually on the 1st January each year. Payment can be by one of the above methods and sent to The Treasurer.
