21 May 2010 - Dog World

A cold day by all accounts for the National Dog Show at Stafford. The ring for this show is not one of my favourites usually dark, cold and noisy and I believe it was certainly cold. Miss Ann Summerfield, breed specialist took on the task of judging our breed and by the end of the day there was one lady who went home on cloud nine. Pat Munn of the Ringlands kennel couldn’t have had a better day with claiming both cc’s with the dog going best of breed, taking his third ticket to claim his crown and a group 3 under Mr Tom Mather. So many congratulations to Pat and his breeders Jenny and Kirsty Miller.

The principal winners for the day were as follows: DCC / BOB / Gp3 Munn’s Feorlig Moonlight Shadow at Ringlands, RDCC Bruce & Bruce-Jacksons Tijuana Teddy Boy, BCC Munn’s Jap CH Smileline Silenzio Faralle Sonia, RBCC Miller’s Feorlig Under My Spell at Shazzabars, BP Smith’s Papplewick Pretty in Pink at Adinaken.

Ablazzor Fly me First Class to Lynflyer certainly took a first class JW ticket with his owner Lynda Woodrow jumping for joy when her boy Harley took his Junior Warrant at Spire Toy Dog subject to KC confirmation. Ablazzor Fly me First Class to Lynflyer is out of CH Lafford Fly me to Farleybane x Ablazzor a Touch of Class. So congratulations one and all.

Well I am off to Holland and Barratt as I believe there is new anti tetchy pill on the market to cure the common day viruses that seem to hide around the corners and leap out at you. Or maybe we all just need a dose of the sunshine pill.

Enjoy your showing and send me your news.
